Question by Sanduichi: How do I save an avi file using a particular codec?
I’m trying to import a video into a program called Miku Miku Dance, and it calls for an avi file using the Windows Media Codec 9. The two programs I have for saving videos are Windows Movie Maker (ew) and Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6.0. Any advice for changing the codec when saving an avi file?

You might want to try MediaCoder. I know it lets you mess with the encapsulation and the audio/video codecs to your heart’s content. If you have it, VLC will let you save files using different codecs too but it’s a little harder to use (well, so is MediaCoder).
